Need a Helping Hand?

Let Me Help Plan and Publish Your Magazine, Guidebook, or Free Circulation Tabloid; Write and Publish Your Book or Magazine Article
with One-on-One Mentoring and Consultation

I WILL HELP YOU TURN YOUR BOOK OR ARTICLE MANUSCRIPT
INTO A POLISHED, PROFESSIONAL PRODUCTION (AND SHOW YOU HOW TO MARKET IT).

I edit for appropriateness of style (matching your style to that required by your target market), correctness, and ease of readability.

I prepare manuscripts for submission to major national publishers
and advise writers on how and where to submit them—often even furnishing query letters.

I also ghostwrite entire books for professionals who have valuable information to convey but who lack either the time or the professional writing technique to put that information into book form. Such books include biographies, company histories, how-to manuals, seminar back-of-the-room sales items and others.

I DESIGN AND TYPESET YOUR MANUSCRIPT TO MAKE IT PRINT READY
(AND EBOOK READY)

There is no substitute for good, strong book design. To fail here is to undo much of the value of the hundreds of hours of thought and energy you have devoted to getting your book written in the first place. Editors, bookstore buyers, wholesalers and distributors all agree: a book that is not professional in appearance will never appear on the bookstore shelves. It costs no more to publish a well-designed, attractive book than one that is amateurish in appearance. Book design is an art as well as a highly technical craft. Most of us take good design for granted in the volumes that we pick up at the bookstore or the library, but the truth is that good book design is always the result of practiced, professional work.

I DESIGN AND PRODUCE LIMITED, PRIVATE EDITIONS OF FAMILY HISTORIES
AND OTHER CLOSELY CIRCULATED BOOK PROJECTS

For those who want small, private editions (a family history, for instance,
or a personal memoir),we design, typeset and print your book for you.

I WILL SHOW YOU HOW PUBLISH AND SELL YOUR BOOK ON YOUR OWN

Self-publication is the big new player on the publishing scene today. Many writers have found this avenue to publication not only easily accessible, but profitable—if it is done right and according to the rules of the marketplace. I have self-published many of my own successful books and have shown many others how they can do it, too. As your mentor and self-publishing coach, I will be available seven days a week to answer your questions and guide you every step of the way. I will answer questions such as these essential ones: How to organize your own publishing company. How to control costs and get your book printed for far less than you thought possible; How to calculate the potential for your book’s success; How to make money on your book even before you print it through pre-publication sales; How to find and make deals with distributors who can sell your book from coast to coast; How to sell your books through catalogues How to sell to lucrative, non-traditional outlets for books; How to sell subsidiary rights; How to sell your book to the bookstore chains; How to sell your book to libraries; How to get reviews that generate sales; How to sell your book to book clubs; How to get thousands of dollar worth of free publicity; How to earn big bucks from secondary profit centers; How to cash in on major tax breaks and other financial advantages for self-publishers; How to save big bucks on printing. And that's just for starters.
